Roz was a mascot in high school, and somehow she was still harassed in a big eagle suit? Also, her family somehow got involved with a random couple's sex scandal in an Iranian restaurant. Don't worry, it wouldn't be an episode of Cold Brew Chai without 50 random side conversations taking place at once, you'll just have to listen to find out what they are.

Eid Mubarak! It's officially the year 1400 in the Solar Hijri (Persian) calendar, and we are ready to celebrate. Enjoy this special Nowruz episode released just in time for the new year. We talk about new year traditions and Roz tells the story of Nowruz for the kids at home. 

Jasmine and Kimia join us to talk about what we like to call "be man che" mentality, a Farsi phrase that basically translates to "what's it to me?" 

Our good friend Bahar joins us this week to talk about the Baha'i Fast, a period of 19 days in which members of the Baha'i Faith refrain from eating and drinking between sunrise and sunset. We also recalled some memories from Baha'i events, including laughing during a prayer service (we didn't mean to ok?!) and catching Roz with a boy at a firepit (ooolala).
