Card collectors dig quarterbacks. Wide receivers? They’re fine – everybody loves themselves a good Jerry Rice card. Running backs are also okay – nobody’s gonna turn down a Walter Payton rookie somethin’ somethin’. But QB’s rule over all. It’s totally understandable, because quarterback is arguably the most important position not just in football, but in all of sports. Also, the signal caller is almost always the face of the franchise, so if you have the option to collect either Justin Herbert or Austin Ekeler, you’re probably going with Herbert.
