Collecting Weekly

This week on Collecting Weekly, we’re diving into the newly revealed Hot Toys Neo from The Matrix Reloaded! Inspired by the iconic chateau fight scene, this 1/6 scale figure features a detailed likeness of Keanu Reeves as Neo, a tailored black cassock-style coat with bendable wires for dynamic poses, rolling eyeballs, and a large set of martial-arts weapons including swords, sai, and a mace.

We’ll break down the sculpt, articulation, accessories, and diorama display base recreating the chateau staircase battle. With a packed accessory loadout and dynamic posing options, does this finally deliver the definitive Reloaded Neo collectors have been waiting for?

This week on Collecting Weekly, we’re breaking down the newly revealed Hot Toys DKR Superman, inspired by The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller.

This version captures the older, government-aligned Man of Steel with his broader build, darker suit tones, and the unmistakable “S” shield design from Miller’s iconic art style. We’ll dive into the portrait sculpt, body proportions, suit texture, articulation, and whether Hot Toys successfully translated that exaggerated comic aesthetic into sixth scale form.

How does he pair with DKR Batman? Is this a must-have for comic collectors, or does the stylized look limit shelf versatility? We’re discussing pros, cons, pricing expectations, and display potential.
