Life is hard enough without carrying memories of a painful past. Today, we examine Colossians 2:13-15 for steps that help make clear that the painful mistakes and poor choices that we have done, has been not only forgiven but also forgotten by a caring Lord and Savior. 

Today, more than ever we live by faith. We have faith that God wants to work in us and if that is true; will God not str etch and test us? God wants us to pray; so, will HE not answer our prayers. God is able to do more than we can even ask or imagine. So, why do we doubt that God can change us and our situations? Identifying four learning points that will help you boost your faith in God and believe that God wants to bring you to a place of perfection. 

The human race has expectations of what is like to connect with God. Today, we discover what happens when God chooses a person. That person discovers God in a way that they typical do not expect. They discover looking back at how God had been moving them along a path that would lead them ultimately into a living relationship with their Savior and Lord. We look at three simple lessons in how to walk with purpose.

Today, we look in the book of Numbers and look at a fascinating moment when God reveals a picture of Christ and it is found in a very unlikely place. God instructed Moses to make a brazen serpent and attach it to a pole so that if anyone would be bitten by a snake they would not die if they would gaze upon it.

Looking through the Old Testament we come to Leviticus, a book that one would not think to find a picture of our Savior among all the rules and regulations handed down by God to Moses. Yet, we see the imagery painted by the Lord of the Lamb of God who took on Himself the role of a goat. Jesus, the Lamb of God became what He was not, so that we could become what we were not. 

Today, we have a special guest speaker, Santiago Guerrero. A former Jehovah Witness, Santiago is a missionary to Mormons and Jehovah Witness'. Santiago explains not only the differences between the core beliefs of Evangelical Christians and these two main groups, but also the similarities between these two groups. You will find this to be a very encouraging teaching.

Proverbs 18:21 tells us that the tongue can speak life or death. The writer of Romans instructs his readers to bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse. Why is this important? The way we speak has more power than we realize. We as Christ followers should be conduits of blessing and grace, not darkness and death. Today, we examine the instructions that Jesus gave his disciples as he sent them out to minister to the surrounding countryside, to towns and villages. We would do well to learn these lessons so that we can be conduits of blessing.

Today, we come to our second installment of our mini-series on Anxiety and Worry. We look at the words of Jesus on the subject of worry and then we look at C. S. Lewis and his book entitled, "The Screwtape letters"  A fictional series that Lewis publish each week during the darkest hours of Britain's history during World War II.  We glean from the words of our Lord Jesus and then look at C. S. Lewis who was addressing the fears, of uncertainty, and the fear that was so prevalent in Britain at the time.

One of the number one mental illness in America is Anxiety disorder. A whopping 40 million American adults from 18 on up have been diagnosed. These are the chronic cases, but when you think about those who feel stressed, worry and suffer with a lighter case of anxiety it becomes a very big problem. As Christ followers we need to worship God and not worry. When we worry we are opening up ourselves to the enemy of our soul. Today, we give some practical reasons why we suffer, how we should not suffer and how to overcome anxiety.
