Today, there is a movement that has become popular among secular organizations to portray the Rapture as a fairly new teaching and not one that is supported by Theologians. In this message, we examine the writings of not only the current Bible but also of the Early Church Fathers that seem to suggest that the Rapture was championed and considered as an orthodox belief of the Church. 

God's masterplan from before the world was created was resurrection. Jesus was the savior of the world even before it was created. The Old Testament points the readers to that masterplan. Today, we see how the resurrection was seen by those who were involved.

As we turn to Exodus we are introduced to Moses. The first thing we discover is how, like Jesus, God had to protect and save his life as a helpless baby. However, we see God use Pharoah not to kill Moses, to feed, clothe and educate Moses. For God over-rules the dictators and despots to accomplish what the Lord wills. This is one of many lessons we will discover through our journey in Exodus. For God alone delivers, rescues and redeems people.

As we have been looking through the book of Genesis, we come a narrative in the 22nd chapter of Genesis. God tests Abraham by asking him to sacrifice Isaac. The similarities between Isaac and Jesus are surprising. There is a definite foreshadowing here in Genesis and what happens with the Lord in the gospels. 

In this series we endeavor to demonstrate from Genesis that God is always delivering, Rescuing and Redeeming People. Today, we are introduced to Intercessory prayer, as the Lord confides in Abraham for the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah. What we witness next in the narrative is a story of distinction between those God deems righteous and those who God deems wicked. We also notice the extremes that God goes to in rescuing Lot and his family and what happens when we are divided in our service to God and this world.

Today, we see God's plan to deliver, rescue and redeem one man and his entire family. We see how faith plays an intrinsic role in the rescue God performs for Noah. Not only that but we see that common thread once again and how obedience by Noah and his family leads into the deliverance, rescue and redemption of mankind and the very animals that lived on the earth. Man becomes an agent of his own salvation. However, he completely depends on God for its fulfillment.  

Today, we begin in the very beginning--the book of Genesis. Did God have a plan to Deliver, Rescue and Redeem man? We will look at three items to suggest that God did have a plan and they are revealed in chapters 3 and 5 of Genesis. God cares very much for all of mankind and desires that mankind would return to Him.

Today, we begin a new series of messages that speak of a common theme interwoven throughout the Bible, from Genesis to the book of Revelation we can see this theme of  God's deliverance, rescue and redemption.  Today, we give three small examples of this as we prepare to work our way throughout the Old Testament into the New Testament. Demonstrating that God loves mankind even when we are not deserving of it.

Today, we conclude our series on the beatitudes.  As we focus on hungering and thirsting for righteousness, we come to appreciate how unredeemed man is involved by a God who desires to redeem mankind.  

Today, we continue to look at the Beatitudes and how they give us direction on how to walk into a relationship with Christ.  God has provided for all mankind an inheritance that all mankind can accept if they wish. Many are not aware of this; others understand on some level but wish to approach God from their own self-designed way.
