Nebraska Football started off the season 0-2 with some of the most mind-boggling quarterback play I have ever seen. Quarterback Jeff Sims was a turnover machine, and after his injury, Heinrich Haarberg started at quarterback and led the team to a 5-1 record with 3 wins in Big Ten Conference play. Michigan's season nearly took a turn for the worst on Saturday, as the Wolverines beat the Maryland Terrapins 31-24 on the road. Running back Blake Corum earned 2 rushing touchdowns against Maryland, bringing his total rushing touchdowns to 20 on the season. JJ McCarthy looked off as if he was playing hurt. My reaction to this game is one of confusion and frustration, and I expected Michigan to play better and they will need to play better to beat Ohio State.
