As Children of God, we are called to go beyond what is convenient and familiar, and go deep into His presence. Surrendering what is easy and seeking His holiness. While it is not easy, God will help us to be more like Him. In this episode, Pastor Del discusses our higher calling through both 2 Samuel 6 and Deuteronomy 15.

As we learn to rest in the place of our Christ-founded family, our roles expand to one being hosted by the king's presence and one that hosts others who come to the table. Generosity begins in the heart. Generosity is about more than just giving a lot financially, but about the willingness we have to be inconvenienced for the sake of love. But first, we must examine our hearts so that we can be generous the way God wants us to.

In times of discouragement, we can become prone to temptation, but let's not forget the times when God has been good to us. The times that God has brought us out of dark circumstances. The more we remember the good times and hold steadfast to His Word, the more we will be able to see God move in our lives.

What is our first response when we feel shame? Like Adam, it is human nature for us to cover & fight the feelings of shame, as we tend to feel weak and exposed. Until we experience the fullness of shame in the safety of love, shame will always have power over how we respond to the circumstances in our lives. What are you doing to be healed from the brokenness that plagues your life? Are you consistently calling out to God or are you continuing to feed into it? It may need some work and the process may look crazy to others, but we need to get our cry back!

Healing has come! The healing from the Spirit does not come without us going through the process and getting to Him. The process can hurt and reveal, even be embarrassing, but in the end, the healing that comes from God is like no other. Do you want to be healed?

God is calling us to communion with Him daily. Many of us in the body today have lost sight of an urgency for the spiritual war that is taking place around us, and amidst the difficulty of life, prayer makes it so we fight our battles less. We tend to see strength in terms of power, whether it'd be physical power, leadership, or courage. But such strength in worldly eyes is not enough.
