Hey everyone! Welcome back to the podcast, in this episode we are talking about Euphoria! A show that highlights the struggles of the highs and lows of high school football (just kidding). Euphoria is titled as an "emotional realism" based show which follows the battles young adults have with substance abuse, addiction, and general high school friendships/relationships. If you haven't seen it go check it out on HBO! Your hosts for today are Alina, Kelsey, and Marie, where the three discuss S2 of Euphoria and what their takes are on the show. They talk about the diversity of the show, the cinematography, as well as the more graphic parts like the excessive nude scenes and hyper-sexualization of the actresses on set. This episode is pretty packed and listen to the end for a surprise from Kelsey!

Hey all! Join us for today's episode with Kelsey, Alina, Zoe, and Marie, where the team talks about well... being adults. The co-hosts give a little update on their lives and what everyone has been up to. They dive into their plans for the future, their experiences as Seniors (minus marie!) in highschool, Marie's experience in college, and that dreadful realization that you're becoming a full-on adult (at least soon). Outside of their discussion about zoom school and HIgh School Musical, they all open up about feeling like "outsiders" no matter where they go and why going to PWIs can be difficult. Take a listen for some much needed advice and some reassurance that you're not the only one struggling. As Kelsey says, "take some time for yourself <3".

Who actually knows who they are in high school? Short answer, no one... But imagine being a WOC as well! It's hard enough being a teenager, but having to grow up with added racial and gender stereotypes on what you can or can't do as a WOC isn't any easier. In today's episode, Kelsey and Alina talk about just that, how to deal with stereotypes as WOC and how to navigate them. Alina opens up about a racial microaggression she dealt with earlier at her internship program and how she plans to respond. She explains how the model minority myth intended microaggression caused her to feel as if her passion for STEM was minimized and overlooked because "all "indians" go into medicine". Kelsey discusses her experience in high school and being degraded by her own teachers. This episode is packed with everyone from racial stereotypes to self-esteem based struggles, a good way to end season 2! Let us know your thoughts on this season and what topics you want to hear us discuss next!
