In our first ever DOUBLE EPISODE, we talk about Jeffrey Combs's first film, "HONKY TONK FREEWAY," a weird-as-hell comedy that also happens to be one of the biggest box office bombs of all time, and "CELLAR DWELLER," a horror film from around eight years later. We decided to do both movies because Jeff has 30 seconds of screentime in the first and five minutes in the second! Have you seen these? What did you think? Let us know!
For episode 48 of "Combs Crew," we watched the amazing "Time Tracers," one of the most incomprehensible movies we've seen so far. Jeffrey Combs plays a scientist who helps a group of characters go to the past in search of a "DINO MAN." Coincidentally, this movie uses the same old dinosaur footage as a previous film, "The Phantom Empire!" This movie was an absolute mess but tons of fun!
Have you seen this movie?... what did you think? Let us know!
For this episode of Combs Crew, we watched 1998's "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer," the pretty bad sequel to "I Know What You Did Last Summer." The film's title makes no sense, but then again, neither does the film's plot! Jeffrey Combs plays the snippy manager of a resort hotel in the Bahamas, where the film takes place for some reason. Have you seen this movie? What did you think?...
In Episode 46 of "Combs Crew," we complain about MOTIVATIONAL GROWTH, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! Okay! This movie has a lot of ideas, but in our personal opinion, we don't think it executed on those ideas very well. Warning: if you really love this movie, consider skipping this episode of Combs Crew, because we don't have a ton of nice things to say about this one...
In this episode, we watched 1991's "Death Falls," a film about an old man who needs PANTS! Where are his PANTS? He steals some PANTS from another man, who then has no PANTS. Jeffrey Combs stars as Lonnie Hawk, a man who screams a lot. It's a great movie! Have you seen it? Let us know in the comments!
In episode 44 of COMBS CREW, we watched "Dead Man Walking," a post-apocalyptic film where Combs and another guy walk, and sometimes drive, around a junkyard. It was pretty ok! Join us as we discuss the Combs's "Chaz," the amazing orange-haired villain Decker, and the tragic Pookie.

For this podcast episode, we watched an episode of "Jake and the Fatman," a largely-forgotten crime drama that ran from 1987 into the early nineties. Jeffrey Combs plays a one-off villain named "Alan Shuba," who uses his majestic beard in order to break out of prison. It was a pretty good episode of television! Join us as we discuss this episode!
For this episode of Combs Crew, we watched 100,000,000 episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, starting with the season 4 finale (when the Federation loses DS9 to the Dominion) and continuing until halfway through season 5 (when the Federation wins it back). It's a really great string of episodes, maybe the best in the whole show, with tons of Dukat, Rom, Odo, and of course, Weyoun!
For episode 41, we watched "THE LURKING FEAR," a weird and inept H.P. Lovecraft tale where Jeffrey Combs plays "Doc Haggis," an alcoholic doctor who teams up with a woman named Katherine... for some reason... to destroy one or more zombies, or monsters, or demons, or something. This one wasn't so hot, but it was such a confusing mess that it was almost entertaining as a result!
Have you seen "The Lurking Fear?" What did you think? Let us know in the comments!
For our 40th episode, we watched "NECRONOMICON," a collection of three short stories where Jeffrey Combs plays H.P. Lovecraft with the help of some creepy facial prosthetics. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either!
Have you seen NECRONOMICON? What did you think? Let us know in the comments!
