When the Egyptians take off after the Israelites, Moses and the Israelites have very different reactions. As the Israelites cower in fear, Moses encourages them that the Lord will fight for them (even before the Lord tells Moses that He's going to step in!). When you look at the life-perspectives of Moses versus the Israelites, we find hints on how to build the kind of faith that Moses had - the kind of faith that parts seas.
