Tensions are at an all-time high, and Joseph Smith (as well as other leaders) have been sent to Liberty Jail. Thomas B. Marsh, who has long been disgruntled with Joseph, writes an infamous letter full of lies to the Missouri government regarding the Saints. What are the consequences of this letter?
