Come, Follow Me Today

People come into contact with Christ in many ways, including through the prayers of others, invitations to participate in activities or church services, or acts of service. In today's episode, we discuss how the woman with the issue of blood in the New Testament reaches out on her own just to touch the Savior, and is made whole through her own faith, rather than being brought to Christ by others.

In today's episode we relate the miracle of Jesus calming the tempest to our own lives, and how we handle the storms of life that buffet our little boats.

Today we continue the Sermon on the Mount, and discuss Christ's teachings on wealth and anxiety, and how we can ensure that our house does not fall when the storms of life batter our souls.

In today's episode we start into the Sermon on the Mount, and discuss the types of people that Jesus considers blessed, and where you and I might fit in.

Matthew 5

Luke 6

In today's episode we discuss the stories of Jesus' interaction with Nicodemus and the Samaritan woman at the well, and think about faith in Christ can lead us to happiness, peace, and everlasting life.

John 2-4

In today's episode we explore Jesus' time in the wilderness, where he's tempted by the adversary, and discuss how we can combat temptation in our lives in the same way that Christ did.

Matthew 4

Luke 4-5

In today's episode we look at the teachings of John the Baptist and talk about what it takes to "see the salvation of God," and why Jesus may have felt the need to also be baptized.

Matthew 3

Mark 1

Luke 3

Today we start the Gospel of John, and unlike Christ's physical birth that we read about last week, in John we'll see Christ's spiritual birth "In the beginning," and discuss how his purpose has always been to give us "power to become the children of God."

Today we discuss the complicated circumstances that Jesus was born into, and compare the events surrounding his life to our own, in order to see the hand of God in our lives.

Matthew 2

Luke 2

In this week's episode we explore the circumstances that Jesus was born into, and talk about how regardless of our lineage God can work miracles through us, and how his answers to prayers are not always what we expect.
