We're rebooting this podcast as we head into a new year, studying the New Testament of the Bible. In today's episode we talk about "why Christ?", and how he can bring to our lives the one thing that the world can't...peace.

Today we talk about Job, the man who's life was destroyed despite his faith in the Lord, but was able to overcome his grief and find his way back to God. We'll discuss how we can try to make sense of this story, and relate Job's life to our own.

In today's episode we learn about Nehemiah's reaction when he learned that the poorer Israelites were being forced into bondage because of their debt to their wealthier cousins, and how he "consulted with himself" before addressing the situation, rather than having a knee-jerk reaction that may have made things worse.
