Leonard and Nick talk acronyms, narrowly avoid the disaster of going into a Beavis and Butt-Head bit, and talk about how entering comedy later in their adulthood has affected their comedy careers.

Young Boston-area comedian Zach Valencia loses his watch but eventually shows up for a great interview before performing at Craft Brew Underground.  He talks about his start of comedy, running mics with friends.  We take time to appreciate his mustache and his dedication to his academics.  We also talk about the fun of producing shows and efforts to get into comedy festivals.

Nick and Leonard talk about efforts to build their business and their stage versus real-life personas.

Lloyd Legacy Sharp joins us to talk about his start in entertainment, from Michael Jackson impersonation to standup comedy.  We go into his comedic influences that include Pryor, Murphy, and Dane Cook (2006 Dane Cook).  We do a deep dive into the horrors of a Bill Cosby bit.  (Spoiler Alert: Bill Cosby is not a good person.)  Lloyd goes on to talk about the incredible highs and lows of Boston comedy, and his sincere aspirations for the comedy world around him.

Nick and Leonard take a break from the laughs to get through a difficult discussion about the latest school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

In this additional episode from the CTTP archives, we interview Boston comedians Peter Liu and David McLaughlin.  First, Nick and Leonard demonstrate why they need a production assistant to keep them on task during their recordings.

Then from the archive, Peter and David join us and discuss various items including efforts to do clean comedy, how to be nimble on stage if a crowd is not into your content, and comedy festivals.

Deep from the CTTP archives, we are releasing the conversation that Nick and Leonard had about Leonard’s trip home late last year for his high school reunion.  Despite being from Chicago, this was Leonard’s first chance to experience and perform comedy in his hometown.  Leonard bounced around to a few open mics and got to perform on the iconic stage of the Laugh Factory, Chicago.  He also had the worst time remembering his classmates’ names.
