Comic Book Breakdown

Cyclops and Marvel Girl have been searching for his son - and this pulls them into the fires. X-Factor enters the conflict while Beast and Angel cope with their own recent transformations.

The X-Men's fight against the Marauders takes an unexpected turn. N'Astirh's demonic transformation spell is changing more than just Manhattan - it's beginning to change the X-Men too. Meanwhile, Madelyne learns where she came from as she literally meets her maker.

While Madelyne Pryor uses the demon N'Astirh to hunt for her missing son, the X-Men have discovered the location of the villianous Marauders. For what they did to the Morlocks, to the X-Men, and to Madelyne, they HAVE to pay...

The X-Men enjoy some quiet time before being caught up in the Inferno - but Mr. Sinister, the demon N'Astirh, and the Goblin Queen all plot behind the scenes.

Illyana's part in the Inferno is over - but the fires are still raging. The second stretch features a completely different character though, who is the end result of YEARS of story-telling. Join me for a quick breakdown of Madelyne Pryor.

Everything SUCKS. Limbo has invaded Manhattan. N'Astirh and S'ym have boxed Illyana in and she can't see any way out of this mess. But a close friend has one last, desperate idea - if Illyana would only choose it.

The X-Terminators struggle to save Takeshi from the crushing grip of N'Astirh. The New Mutants are busy saving the babies used to open the portal to Limbo. That leaves Illyana alone - facing down demons both physical and internal.

The New Mutants join the Inferno! N'Astirh juggles the X-Terminators and the Mutants and manages to finish the first stage of his plan: an all-out demon invasion of Manhattan.

The demon N'Astirh makes his first moves against Earth - kidnapping young mutants Artie and Leech. But the wards of X-Factor are on the rescue. Call them - the X-Terminators!

Inferno is a legendary X-Men event, the effects of which can still be felt today. Go back to the X-Men of the 80s as I teach ya'll the basics of Illyana Rasputin - and her heartbreaking journey through the fire.
