Comic Book Buds

This week, the Buds go round-robin and attempt to summarize all 22 movies in the MCU in two sentences or less. Do they succeed? Yes, yes they do. Because that's what heroes do.

This week, we had the privilege to interview Jenny Blenk, an assistant editor at Dark Horse Comics, about one of her areas of expertise, graphic medicine and disability representation in comics.

Welcome to the first episode of Comic Book Buds: The Animated Series! We'll be posting one of these mini-episodes every Thursday, recapping each episode of Batman: The Animated Series! Longer episodes will continue to be released on Mondays.

This week, the Buds are going Higher, Faster Further with the new Captain Marvel movie!

This week, in honor of the Oscars, we host our own awards show! The Buddies!

This week, the buds talk about their favorite wordplay-based antihero, the Pun-isher!

The Post-Teen Comic Book Buds are back this week with all sorts of Bird Facts. That's right, we're talking about Robin, Raven and Cyborg. (cyborgs are a kind of bird...right?)

Topics include: The Reverse Stella Luna, A Sexy Howl-loween Costume, and the first appearance of our new hit segment "New 52 a Character".

This week, the Teen Titans - specifically Starfire and Beast Boy! We had too many dang Titans to fit in this episode, so we had to stick the rest of them in next week's episode!

Topics include: What if the Teen Titans were a boy band?, how not to costume characters, and folksy home remedies like turning your son into a monkey.

The Buds are scattered to the winds! Will they be able to wrangle their schedules together in time to record an episode together in time? Sort of!

This week, Venom! Topics this week include: Topher Grace, the severe lack of edgy/dark/gritty superhero movies, and the most divisive movie of 2018.

This week we're talking about our favorites of 2018! We go into the greatness that was Into the Spiderverse, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, as well as some of our favorite comics from the year.
