Death orb#1
What? Beej found some time to read a comic book and record a new episode?
“Rider, an ax-wielding wasteland survivor, carves a bloody path across a war- torn North America ruled over by the Lords, the mysterious Father, and their cult followers as he searches for his abducted wife and child. Information from one of Father's hired mercenaries could lead Rider to his family--if the Lords don't take him out first. *From the creator of D4VE and Marvel's Secret Wars: Battleworld. *Fast-paced manga-style action in a Road Warrior setting.”

This week Beej takes you back to school but the substitute is in!
“Meet Mr. Fisk. He's a member of the covert S.U.B.S.T.I.T.U.T.E. division of the Board of Education. His mission? To quickly and quietly handle any and all supernatural, inexplicable or just plain weird occurrences at schools. In "Parrallel Lines" -- As a surprise enemy puts a dastardly plan in motion, Mr. Fisk questions the very foundation of S.U.B.S.T.I.T.U.T.E. philosophy, while a brand new protege and an extra-dimensional voyage provides him a glimpse of the path-not-taken. Will he stick to the tried-and-true approach, or will he make a judgement call that changes everything his department stands for? Things will never be the same for Mr. Fisk as he confronts an adversary who knows him better than he knows himself! Plus a bonus prequel story: In "The Case of the Photocopy Clones," Mr. Fisk must deal with a science lab full of dopplegangers, in a case of duplicate identity. It's MEN IN BLACK meets Mr. Holland's Opus! It's the X-Files meets Dead Poet's Society! It's an action-packed romp that sets the stage for the subsequent mini-series and leaves the reader pondering just what Mr. Fisk's briefcase contains. "In all honesty this book was a lot of fun. It does what any good intro issue should do, by introducing the reader to the cast and giving them a little back story. The action in this book was probably the highlight though. I think that what I was able to walk away with was some mystery and definitely some intrigue." -- Horrornews.net”

This week Beej dives deep into his Wishlist on Comixology and finds an amazing gem about a teddy bear who may as well be the love child of The Punisher, Deadpool and Rocket Racoon! This teddy bear will leave you wanting more!
“Mr Button's: One Shot, is a very different Teddy Bear Tale. This is what happens when one Teddy Bear decides to go 'Punisher' on the Boogeyman and his Monsters under the Bed, and brings the pain.
This isn't your typical cuddly defender tale as we journey into the realm of the Underbed with Mr Button, a particularly psychotic little Teddy Bear with a love of really big guns and explosives!”
