Comic Exposure

It’s a “genre September” and there is reason to believe that the boys may find some joy in Matt Kindt and Dan McDaid’s cosmic odyssey comic.

“From Daniel Freedman (Raiders) and Mondo and DICE artist Robert Sammelin comes an original graphic novel that’s a nonstop, high-octane existential action spectacle that perfect for Mad Max: Fury Road fans.” Josh and Trav crack into the genre piece…

For a couple of 80’s baby punk rockers, Grommets scratches an itch for Josh and Travis when it comes to nostalgia. Listen to the guys talk everything from malls to Taco Bell in the skating fueled slacker story.

After a summer of reading comics that take place in a galaxy far far away, its time for Josh and Travis to wrap up their time in the Star Wars universe and maybe even pitch a Star Wars story arc or two.

Trav and Josh read through a comic based on the original rough draft of the Star Wars film.

Luke! Say it ain’t so! The boys dive into Stars Wars: Dark Empire AKA… Luke Breaks Bad.

Get a double dose of Vader in this episode with the boy’s thoughts on the 1999 four-issue mini-series “Vader’s Quest” and Kieren Gillen’s “Darth Vader” series.

Not all droids are sweethearts as Josh and Travis find out while reading Charles Soule’s Dark Droids.

Star Wars Summer begins after the original trilogy with “Heir to the Empire”, a graphic novel adaption of Timothy Zahn’s celebrated novel series.

Summer has begun and that means it is time for another Comic Exposure Summer Series. This summer is Star Wars Summer! Listen in as Travis and Josh pitch the Star Wars comics they will be reading and discussing this summer.
