Comic Picks By The Glick

My friend Marisa joins me to talk about all things "Trigun:"  The original anime.  The "Trigun Maximum" manga.  And the new "Trigun:  Stampede" anime.

Historical adventure and horror?  This series is better at one of these genres than the other.

Three superhero groups take part in this fine Marvel event, but Gillen and Schiti make it a good showcase for one of them.

Kieron Gillen and Dan Mora serve up an enjoyably witty series that's all about fantasy and family drama.

Does Miles' first post-Bendis writer find an interesting angle for his ongoing adventures?

Yoshinaga!  Remender!  Miyazaki!  Guillory!  Hill!  Fujimoto (x2)!  AND MORE!

Gender-bending via magic or mental illness?  Mangaka Shuzo Oshimi picks one and kind of fumbles it in the end.

Slott doesn't strike out, but he doesn't deliver a home run either.

Teenagers + Assassin School + 80's punk nostalgia = Greatness?

If anyone else is wondering what happened to all of the other non-podcast posts on this site, SO AM I!  I've e-mailed Podbean about it and am currently waiting for them to get back to me.  In the meantime, keep watching this space.

More of a showcase for the artist, Daniele Di Nicuolo, than the writer, Tom Taylor.
