The new movie is great.  As for the comics which helped inspire it, well...

John Layman and Rob Guillory's great, demented series comes to an end and I try to find out if the series was well-planned enough to make its ending work.

The original series is a justified classic, while its long-delayed sequel manages a few redeeming qualities.
