Fridays normally don't mean Comicast, but today is an exception. This special Comicast: One-Shot actually was part of the recording Michael and Fred of Derf Designs did earlier this week but the recording was so long they decided to split this part of the recording into it's own issue. The discussion today is all about Variety's recent article regarding toxic fandoms and how studios are combating them with help from superfan focus groups (excuse me, they're doing what now?). Find out what the guys think about that concept (dumb), dealing with online toxicity from fans, being hateful for clicks, and much more.

No Jong Lee but that's ok because Comicast legend, the man behind the historic David Does Comics segment previously featured on Comicast, the one and only David Ramon returns to the podcast after a year away. David joins Michael to give a breakdown of the debut trailer of Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts*. Then the guys discuss what ended up being a surprise new name to enter the Hal Jordan/Green Lantern discussion, Kyle Chandler. Do the guys like the pick? Could we see the Yellow Lanterns and Sinestro in the Lanterns series? Why do the names surrounding Lanterns already have David sold on the show? Well you gotta listen, I'm not giving away the answers to those questions. Plus Michael shares some stories from the ESPN 97.5/92.5 Listener Appreciation Party.
