Today, I am back and with a very special guest. Mrs. Christy Ferrens, SPSG Head of Upper School, sat down with me today to discuss the topic of empowerment. We broke down the many pieces of empowerment and she gave insight on having a role like she does. Because of her many years of teaching English, Mrs. Ferrens is a phenomenal storyteller and you will find this episode full of personal anecdotes about her journey as a student, teacher, mentor, mom, and female role model. 

Today, my mom and I talked about the importance of love in relationships, friendships, and connections. We discussed how having love in our lives is very important, but it needs to be healthy. There are many ways to do this, but most start with self-love. We talked about how loving ourselves before others is crucial to a successful love with others. There are many ways to attract high energy and love, but it comes with knowing your worth first. 

Hi everyone! Happy holidays! Today, I talked about the importance of gratitude and being thankful in the journey to the happiest mindset. Being aware of the things, people, and opportunities I am blessed with has been a crucial part to my happiness, even though it is not a part of my 6 topics. I ended with a prayer for Forbes Arbaugh, who was in a horrible accident and needs all the prayers he can get. I hope you guys like this podcast. Have a happy holiday and new year! 

Today, Kendall Steer and I talked about how connections shape who we are and our values. We dove into the meaning of connection and many of the aspects that must be present for deep, beneficial connections. Kendall is one of my dear friends that does not let others control her happiness and I thought she would be a great person to discuss the importance of deep connections. I hope you guys learn a lot and enjoy! 

We are now to the R of the Circle! Today, I talked about ways to be reflective and also shared many powerful realizations that came to me from reflecting. It is an awesome tool for when times are overwhelming and stressful. I also talk about faith and ways it has impacted me and my view of life, but I am not pushing this on anyone, just my view! Hello! Today, I met with Beth Macmullan and learned so much from her about how she stays introspective in her daily life. She is such a sweet light in the world and lives her life in the happiest state. She shares lots of information she has learn over years of many different experiences. She has a Youtube Channel @BethSnowMacmullan where she has yoga and relaxation practices. I was honored to speak with her because she truly a role model for me.
