In Acts chapter five we come to the famous or should I say infamous story of the sudden judgment of Ananias and Sapphira. God in his mercy is making an example of them so that those who follow won’t make the same mistake. No doubt it will raise our awareness about presumptuous sins – and in particular the very common sin of hypocrisy.
