Commentology

Even by our standards, this is a bad movie. To be honest, this is maybe the worst movie. A dog with a horned up internal monologue tricks a woman into letting him into her house, then at night he shape-shifts into a vaguely Eastern European looking man with a bad dye job. They fall in love, but he turns back into a dog when the sun comes up. To stop this from happening, he needs to convince a Pond Ghost that the woman truly loves him. Insomuch as you can describe this plot with language, there you have it.

This movie is truly beyond words, beyond comparison, beyond critical analysis of any kind. The Commentology boys were totally sober but for the effect this film had on their brain... and both were questioning their sanity throughout.

JA....

BALDWIN...

an on screen match up* so explosive Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior can only *wish* he stuck around to see it.

The world has seen so many sides of Ja over the years... the hustla, the gangsta, the grown ass man very easily swindled by a frat bro named Billy. But if this is all you see of Ja, you're missing a world brimming with emotion.

On this episode of Commentology, the boys dive into that very world via the 2013 film I'm In Love With A Church Girl.

*Ja Rule and Stephen Baldwin do not appear on screen together at all in this feature.

Welcome to the future. It sucks.

Think you know pain? You don't know pain until you've had your face literally cut in half by a jagged machete in the north block of this dystopian prison hell hole. Think you know pain? Riki-oh knows pain. And from the second he walks into prison, he's dishing it out, too.

Commentology fan favorite Jon Luke joins The Boys on a journey through the incredibly violent feature that is Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky. Be warned: few heads are left unsquashed. Praise be to the gods of pre-CGI.

The Insane Clown Posse are not just an aging, mediocre rap group who have been milking their carnival schtick for over two decades. They're a force of nature; the architects of a way of life. Through sheer force of will, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have created a universe so potent Commentology's own Max Reid begins to feel the pull of the Juggalo.

Their million followers, the Juggalos and Juggalettes, commune once a year for a music festival known as "The Gathering" - a week of rap metal, body paint and whip-its the rest of the planet would likely regard as a nightmare.

This episode, Commentology Podcast takes a long, hard, look at the ICP and Juggalo Culture, and through the power of film, experience what The Gathering has to offer in it's 20th year.
