Documentary starts at 35:18!This episode we watched the 2008 documentary "Tyson," which interviews Iron Mike himself and he walks us through his rise to fame and success and his eventual fall from grace with the boxing world and retirement from the sport. It's been really interesting watching these documentaries because I've realized that all too often we see people as characters based solely on what the media has fed us about them. Listening to Mike Tyson talk is fascinating becau [...]

Documentary starts at 14:36This episode we watched "Casting JonBenet" and were both embarrassed to admit we didn't understand what the documentary was about until about 3/4 of the way through. It's actually a great doc about people from the town JonBenet grew up in and the different ways that people interpreted the murder. Also they get kids to smash melons with a hammer. Loads of fun! Enjoy! castingjonbenet.mp3File Size: 64498 kbFile Type: mp3Download File [...]

.Documentary starts at 6:15!Welcome back! This episode we finally watched GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. This was a fun episode, Chase is an extremely devoted wrestling fan and already knows all of the backstory and characters from GLOW. I didn't grow up with a lot of TV but I've admired professional wrestling from afar, plus I often get drunk and watch old wrestling videos with Chase. This documentary is pretty much the emotional opposite of the John McAfee episode. [...]

Documentary starts at 14:01!Wow. This one got really dark, really fast. Chase and I were ready to laugh in the face of a goofy tech mogul that got caught taking himself too seriously but damn. Trigger warnings abound. We tried to have fun with it but John McAfee is human filth, so maybe just enjoy us struggling to process that this is a true story that happened in the real world. Documentary starts at 9:12!This episode we watched the Lego episode of the Netflix series "The Toys That Made Us" and it was a fun romp through the questionable business acumen of the largest toy company in the world. Chase and I also got a chance to talk about "Mama beads", which we mentioned in an episode that we wound up having to delete due to tech issues. Enjoy! thetoysthatmadeuslego.mp3File Size: 37454 kbFile Type: mp3Download File [...]

Documentary starts at 16:36!This episode we watched DMT: The Spirit Molecule, which is a documentary from 2008 that attempts to unravel some of the mystery behind the drug DMT and interviews a dozen different experts, volunteers, and a shaman that we found very off-putting. Also Joe Rogan somewhat narrates it, but it really feels like he was shoehorned in, possibly as an attempt to get more people to watch. Check it out!dmtthespiritmolecule.mp3File Size:63416 kbFile Type:mp3Download File [...]

HEY YOU DIRTY DOCU-COMMENTARIANS. You're dirty and we know all about it. This episode we watched "Austin to Boston" which follows musicians on a road trip across the country. This was a fun episode for Chase and I because we got to tell a lot of our own road stories. Also we talk a lot about Shannon Sharpe, who I love.austintoboston.mp3File Size:59925 kbFile Type:mp3Download File [...]
