  • Ep. 116 – Tasia Valenza
This week's guest has some important news.

No not that! Tasia Valenza has bigger things on her plate than Tad The Cad's baby! She's got a war to fight. And plants to take care of. And a brand new meditation app called Haven Affirmation Mediation where she helps people cope with the stress of being a time-bending sorceress or a Mom Solo. Or whatever little issues you have.

Tasia talks with Evan about her effort to Give Great Voice, her upcoming Ted Talk, and why she seems to always die in her roles. Plus she manages to validate Evan's weird board game collection, so that makes her our favorite guest yet!

  • Ep. 115 – David Kaye
    Yeesss....

Even that little bit barely contains the menace behind David Kaye's portrayal of Beast Wars Megatron, where the famous bad guy went from being a dinky little pistol someone else had to shoot to the King of the Lizards, muthaluva! David also lent his voice to a slightly more genteel robot named Clank, an american hero, a troll king, and the voice behind Last Week Tonight.

David joins Evan to talk about misbehaving kids, the ups and downs of not knowing what you are getting into, the importance of checking on your tires, and finding the truth in a character, even if that character is floating baby from the future.

  • Ep. 114 – Josh Petersdorf & John DiMaggio
The final installment of our GalaxyCon Minneapolis episode series, and we saved the beardiest for last.

First up we have Josh Petersdorf, who overcame a potential demo-tape disaster to land roles in Overwatch, Aggretsuko and Rage 2 among others. Mr. Roadhog talks about dating at VO classes, exploiting 70-year-old labor rules to claw his way into the business and even speculates on the future of Overwatch.

After Josh we've got the legendary John DiMaggio to sit down in a quiet room on the final day of the con and talk about his career, discovering the impact of his characters (even if he doesn't remember doing them) and his thoughts on the great Minnesota Jucy Lucy debate.

  • Ep 113 – Steve Blum, Josh Martin & Chris Rager at GalaxyCon Minneapolis
More anime! More shouty men and wicked hairdos! More I say!

Another week, another batch of interviews from GalaxyCon Minneapolis. This time it's the men of anime's turn, with 2 (count them 2!) members of the Dragon Ball cast, Josh Martin (of Buu/Majin Buu fame) and Chris Rager (of Mr. Satan infamy). Evan was also able to snag a few minutes with ol' Spike Spiegel himself, Steve Blum, who somehow managed to mostly avoid the Dragon Ball thing.

The convention circuit, clueless interviewers butchering last names, Run DMC, the personal growth of an explosives-addicted psychopath, and one man's years as Barney (the answer will surprise you!) all come up over the course of this mad scramble of interviews.

    Ah the chaos of conventions.

  • Ep. 112 – Bret Iwan & Kevin Conroy at GalaxyCon Minneapolis
A mouse and a bat walk into a convention center...

Once again Evan snags a couple of great interviews at GalaxyCon Minneapolis, this time with the latest Mickey Mouse, Bret Iwan and the greatest Batman, Kevin Conroy.

Bret works through the Day 3 Vocal Burn to chat about taking over for "the boss", working with kids and their parents, and differences and similarities between a King Mickey, an Epic Mickey, and just plan Mickey. Later, Kevin breaks down what he sees in Batman after 27+ years in the role as well as his time working live-action TV and soap operas. Yep, soap operas. How great would a DC universe soap opera be? Wait, that's CW...

  • Ep. 111 – Caitlin Glass, Morgan Berry & Amanda Miller at GalaxyCon Minneapolis
When it rains at GalaxyCon, it pours. Although it's late autumn in Minneapolis, so it's more snowy.

Three ladies of anime join Evan this week, starting with newcomer-to-the-show Caitlin Glass, known for Winry from Full Metal Alchemist, Cammy from the Street Fighter series and Haruhi from Ouran Host Club. Then we have Morgan Berry, who was on the show back in 2016, and has since shown up in Borderlands (mild spoilers), My Hero Academia and some show about butt battling. We wrap up with Amanda Miller, who joined Evan back in 2015 when she took over the role of Sailor Jupiter, which obviously prepared her to explain to our clueless host what a Boruto is.

  • Ep. 110 – Rikki Simons & Richard Horvitz at GalaxyCon Minneapolis
It's our first show after the VO-palooza that was GalaxyCon!

30+ voice actors graced the home base of your fearless host and we've got a bunch of them for you. Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing all of our chats at the con, and we are starting with the two lead non-humans from Invader Zim, Rikki Simons (Gir) and Richard Horvitz (Zim).

Rikki talks to Evan about living with Zim creator Jhonen Vasquez while they worked on independent comics in the 90s and how he was urged not to improve his acting skills for Gir. Meanwhile, Richard goes through some of his live-action acting work and the subtle but important differences between Zim, Raz and Alpha 5.

  • Ep. 109 – Scott Parkin
The most "that guy" guest we've had on yet.

While his IMDB page may seem to be mostly on-camera work, Scott Parkin has been all over the place in radio, narration, and all sorts of other voiceover work that doesn't get the fancy websites designed in 2002 and never really updated.

Scott chats with Evan about the grind of being a working voice actor, being a California boy in 1980s Oklahoma, going on the road with his VO buddies and the importance of not being stuck in one niche. He also talks about his daughter like the proud papa he is. Everyone now....Awwwwwwwwww.

  • Ep. 108 – Jaimie Kelton
Now I'm picturing Bo Peep hanging out with the Octonauts and boy are the bleepers busy.

Jaimie Kelton may have started her career as the third party to a bet, but since then she's been all over children's programming, from playing an Argentinian penguin as well as a scuba diving bunny in Octonauts to playing an imaginary friend in Happy! What do you mean, Happy! isn't children's programming? It's got imaginary unicorns, and Santa, and these teletubby looking things. Looks like a kids show to me.

Jaimie chats with Evan about her podcast If These Ovaries Could Talk, her VO white whale, and how she deals with her memory issues. Or doesn't deal. It's complicated.

  • Ep. 107 – Max Koch
For some, it is easier to be cheesy than average.

Max Koch may sound like the name of a German silent film actor, but he is far from silent. As the latest to take up the mantle of Chester Cheetah, going the silent route would be an interesting change, but not a successful one I think.

Max chats with Evan about filling the shoes of Seth Rogen, his early work in the bygone days of internet animation, and why October is going to be very busy for him.
