- Preach The WordA sermon from Pastor Wilson that gives charge to all Christians to be part of spreading the Gospel into the World. The opening text is taken from 2 Timothy 4:1-4“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

39 min - Faith Into FaithfulnessPastor Farrell Wilson delivers the sermon “Faith into Faithfulness” at the Lighthouse Church in Grenada Mississippi. The opening text comes from Hebrews Chapter 11 and verse 8 through 10 “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.”
Despite all the wrongs of Abraham and his wife Sarah, the Holy Spirit gives God’s final thoughts on the man of Faith in Hebrews Chapter 11. It does not matter what God thinks of you, it matters what God says. Men would have never accepted Abraham in Church leadership. But God accepted Abraham and used him on a scale like no other man. He is the Father of a great multitude. Abraham started with a little Faith, that turned into great faith and faithfulness to God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

53 min - Confronting Darkness
And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about. [Luke 7:11-17]
Confronting Darkness preached by Pastor Farrell Wilson
” As a believer in Christ, I think we should confront the powers of darkness. One quick glance at our nation and you can see what compromise has gotten us. Leaving the satanic powers just to fester and grow, will only bring greater pain”
“The Good News is, we have weapons for the war we must wage and they are not carnal. It is not a 12 gauge shotgun but our weapons are found in Christ. If you are feeling like you are losing in life, its probably because you are fighting on your own. Jesus has won every battle. If you will fight the battles of Life with Jesus at your side, you will never lose”

36 min - Get Up And Get Going!
Brother Wilson preaches a sermon from the story of David’s son born out of a sinful situation. David’s failures did not define his future. He got up from a bad situation and trusted the Lord with his future.
The opening text read – “And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bare unto David, and it was very sick. David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth. And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead? But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat. Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. ” [2 Samuel 12:15-23]The post Get Up And Get Going! appeared first on Lighthouse Church | Grenada Mississippi | Preaching The Message of the Cross.
