The CVPro Team gets an inside look in the history and foundation of the Commercial Vehicle Business Summit ahead of the Fall 2022 Event. Kathryn Schifferle, CVO, Work Truck Solutions sat down with Kevin Kinell, CTO, Work Truck Solutions to get the in depth look.

Kathryn Schifferle, CVO Work Truck Solutions, sat down with long time friend, columnist and industry name Taylor Steinberg, a longtime employee and trainer for Knapheide, to reflect on his experiences and time in the industry.

A very special Northwest Ford Truck Association (NWFTA) meeting was held at the Boeing Flight Museum on September 22nd. This was the last NWFTA meeting of the year and once President Steve Renner, from Gresham Ford, led a large turnout of around 70 members, plus Steve Kettler, Ford Seattle Regional Manager, and Dan Belick, Regional Sales Operations Manager, through a short Business Meeting, a very unique evening of three presentations began.
Ted Croce, of Summit Truck Bodies in Portland, Oregon, provided the very heart warming story of how he became the President/CEO and led the operation to become 100% employee owned, one of only about 8,000 businesses in the country to achieve this incredible feat.

Kathryn Schifferle, Founder and now Chief Vision Officer of Work Truck Solutions (WTS) walked the audience through an abbreviated history of why she founded WTS in 2012 to help dealers serve business customers better. Kathryn also offered sincere thanks to the members of the NWFTA for their support as WTS was just getting up and running. She also shared new technologies recently launched such as VAST (Vehicle Acquisition Search Tool) designed to help dealers find used commercial inventory to help their customers get through this difficult inventory time, plus EZOrder and CVShowroom which together offer business shoppers a way to view, select and order vehicles that are not in stock at their dealership.
