Today - Richland County commissioners were recently asked to contribute nearly $70,000 to the City of Mansfield's West End Neighborhood Plan. Adrian Ackerman, the city's community development and housing director, met with commissioners and made the request to get financial support for phase 1 of a 3-phase project.

Also, Tyler Sabo and his Ashland golf teammates began their bid for a third straight trip to the state tournament in grand fashion. Sabo fired a 7-under 65 as the Arrows won a second straight Division I sectional title at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.
