COMMIT FIRST with Sagi Shrieber episodes

  • 66: Blake Houston: Committing to your Health & Wellness, and daring to get uncomfortable

In this episode I talk to Blake Houston - a holistic fitness and wellness personal trainer and an inspiring human being. Blake is a practitioner of a lot of the biohacks most of us just read about and so I wanted to pick his brain about these kind of stuff and mostly about his MINDSET!

In this episode we talked about mental toughness, the benefits of different kinds of workouts and nutritional intakes that aid a healthy lifestyle.

Yes we also talked about cold showers and he also gave the recipe of his bulletproof coffee.

So before we begin - just remember what they say -  a healthy person has many dreams and wishes - especially us high achievers - but… when health is taken away - a person only has one wish - and that’s to be healthy.

So... I invite you to repeat the following with me “I commit to my Health!” OK let’s begin.

  • 65: Success Motivation: A super important strategy to bulletproof your success in life and business ...

WE ALL DESERVE TO KNOW THIS ONE!

I don't talk about it much, but at the beginning of 2019 my business crashed.

This caused me to loose a lot of money - but mostly it cost me my self-esteem and confidence in ever launching anything.

I managed to recover using a piece of advice for my business coach - Mark Bowness - who told me "Sagi - Launch another program - and no matter what - Detach from the Results!"

I couldn't fully understand it at that time - but I did what he said and it really helped! I ended up saving my business.

Recently, we had Tony Robbins visit Israel and something he said in his event dropped a hell of a coin in my head.

It's what I explain in this episode, and this formula, imho, is the perfect hack to succeed and to build your Self Esteem, Confidence and momentum in business and in life.

So - enjoy this tip - and please share this with as many people as possible- because we all need to know this!

  • 64: STOP. Pause whatever you're doing now and take a moment to reflect on this ...

When I heard of the tragedy of Kobe Bryant and his daughter's deaths, I was shocked in two major ways.

    1. It was a heart buster as a father:
I have a young daughter and she means the world to me and our entire family.

    2. I was a hell of a brainf*** as an entrepreneur/ high achiever (sorry for the language):
I mean - You can build all the success in the world - but then you'll die in a helicopter crash!

This was unreal! It was so much to process.

I called up a good friend and coach Talie Davis Weir and asked her what she thought - and she said "You know Sagi, we just have to cherish every moment of our life".

I connected to a recent podcast episode by Hal Elrod in which he talked about his priorities in life.

In this episode I talk about these things and tie them all together, and hopefully, it will give you some food for thought and more importantly - something to fire you up about in your own life!

What are YOUR priorities in life? Let me know what your insights were from this Kobe Bryant tragedy.

My condolences to all the families that were impacted by this terrible accident.

  • 61: Parenting Tips - I tried this with my kids and maybe you should too ...

    Hey everybody!

Recently I've been reflecting on my contribution to society (in Talie Davis Weir's mastermind).

Besides a couple of things like "I should make more time for free consultation calls" and "I should really make sure to donate 10% of my profits to charity" -  I came to a deep insight...

I'm teaching all the members of my online courses and communities.
I'm educating and mentoring about specific stuff - and I do guide a lot of people for free one on one - but...

    WHAT ABOUT MY OWN CHILDREN?

I'm with them usually when they are both together and therefore not able to actually spend enough one on one time with them, and I also want to teach them as well about life and strengthen their curiosity to learn what THEY want to learn.

    So here's what I decided....

From now on they will have something called DADDY PRACTICE!

Since then - every week I started spending a full hour with each one of them - alone - and to learn with/teach them about the things THEY choose to learn about.

I encourage for you to try this out for yourselves!
It's so much fun and I bet this will impact them greatly.

Our kids are our contribution to society as well - no less than our charity.

We should make sure they grow up to be curious and good-hearted human beings that serve society and contribute to their own surroundings.

Agree? Disagree? Have you ever tried something similar with your kids?

  • 59: How to Take Action on What You Want (w/ Scott Voelker, author of "The Take Action Effect")

Today I brought on Scott Voelker (for the second time) on the show!

Scott came on the show first on episode 16, and told his incredible story coming up as an entrepreneur to making multiple 7 figures.

This week Scott just published his first book: The Take Action Effect!

If you’ve ever listened to his podcast ‘The amazing seller’ or to episode 16 of this show- you know Scott is a real action taker and he managed to create and replicate his process to build multiple successful businesses.

How does he do it? Well that’s kind of what I asked him.

On the show I asked Scott about some concerns we as creatives have about taking action when it comes to taking risks, struggling with focus (we are creatives after all) and why time cannot be your excuse.

    Alright, ready? Let’s do this!

  • 57: How to Stand Out and Find Your Own Voice (w/ Jason Zook - author of the new book “Own Your Weird”)

    Hey everyone!

Today on the show I brought on - for the second time - Jason Zook! Jason is one of my mentors and a super successful entrepreneur who I’ve been following for years.

One thing I can say about Jason that I can’t say for most influencers that I follow - is that he has a VERY unique way of writing and communicating to his audience. If I was to read one of his emails without ever knowing who sent it - I would immediately know it was him. That’s a pretty unique skill by itself - and today we talk about just that!

Jason just wrote a book called ‘Own Your Weird’ and it’s all about how to get your way in life while still being YOU, and how to double down on what makes you unique! As soon as I saw that this book is coming out I asked Jason back on the show to discuss it. So here we are, and we’re also doing a book giveaway on this episode so look out for that!

Last but not least - we discussed Membership sites! Jason has his WAIM (Wandering Aimfully) Membership which he runs along with wife Caroline, and it’s going really well for them, so I wanted to pick his brain on the topic of Memberships VS Course because I’m interested in that as well.

Enjoy the episode and remember to own YOUR weird!
