Over last weekend Southwest  has cancelled over 3,000 domestic flights.  While many news outlets speculate that this is over their recent vaccine mandate, the airline maintains that these are weather related cancellations (though other carriers seem unaffected).  Does Southwest only fly paper planes that cannot fly when wet?  Why do Southwest and many news agencies seem reticent to point out the relationship between this event and the new mandates?  Can I still do an hour-long solo-episode, did I lose my mojo, or did I ever really have it to begin with?  All this and more on Common Criminal Episode 88:  Southwest Airlines and American Currency

Pictures of unfinished F-150s have gone viral on social media, and memesters say a chip-shortage is to blame.  Ford has corroborated these claims, stating that sales are down and production is halted.  So we must ask:  Why are stock prices in Ford MotorCo remaining resilient?  Who benefits from the forces crippling the American car industry as a whole?  Let's talk about the future of the auto-industry on Common Criminal Podcast Episode 87:  Built Fraud Tough  Also available on Facebook and Spotify (if you prefer on-the-go listening).  Just search Common Criminal.  Thanks for Listening   -V.P.
