John is going to continue to talk about how Jesus, through the life He lived, revealed God to mankind. We will look deeper at how God, through the Word and Holy Spirit, reveals Himself to us today.

John is going to continue discussing his eyewitness account of Jesus. In this podcast we will deal with what they saw and observed walking with Jesus. But we also, through the Holy Spirit living within us, are able to hear, see, and observe Jesus as well. That’s what we will look at today in this podcast.

As we begin this new study in 1st John, we are going to look at the importance of “campfire conversations”. Don’t know what that is? Listen to this podcast and you can see how “campfire conversations” can help your walk with the Lord.

In John 15:8 we close out this section of Scripture on the Vine and the branch. We will tie together the purpose Jesus has been teaching on the purpose of abiding.

In John 15:7 we see a verse that tells us ask whatever I want and it will be done. So, what does that mean? Can I ask God for anything and He has to give it to me? There’s an important phrase before that where Jesus says I must abide in Him and His words abide in me. So what does it all mean? That’s what we will look at today in this podcast.

In John 15:6 we see a passage that can be confusing. This podcast will look at this passage and use the parable of the sower to help explain it. We will look at the question, did you get saved in the first place?

In John 15:5 Jesus makes a statement that when we are in close relationship with Him He produces fruit in and through us. But He also makes a very important statement at the end of the verse, “you can do nothing without Me.” That’s what this podcast will look at today.

In John 15:4 Jesus starts this verse with relationship—remaining/abiding. But there is a purpose for remaining in Him and that’s what this podcast talks about.

As we look at John 15:3, it seems this verse doesn’t go with the rest of this passage. However, it ties right with 15:2 and talking about salvation. This podcast will look at what Jesus is saying about salvation in this verse.

In John 15:2 Jesus talks about what happens to branches that don’t produce fruit. Then He adds that pruning takes places for the branch to produce more fruit. We will look at what both of these mean in our lives today.
