Fast täglich auf Unternehmenswebseiten, Produkten oder beim Einkauf im Supermarkt, begegnen uns Sticker, Siegel und Logos von NGOs. Diese Logos von Non-Governmental-Organizations sind Teil von Kooperationen mit Unternehmen. Ein bekanntestes Beispiel dafür, ist die Kooperation zwischen der EDEKA und dem WWF. Aber habt ihr euch dabei schonmal gefragt, warum Unternehmen und NGOs eigentlich zusammenarbeiten? Was bringt ihnen das? Wer hat hier eigentlich Vor- oder Nachteile von wem? Was bedeutet das für uns als Konsumenten und wie beeinflusst uns das? Diesen Fragen wollen wir in unserem Podcast auf den Grund gehen und haben uns dafür Susanne Adler als Expertin für Konsumentenpsychologie eingeladen. Oft werden der Generation Z Eigenschaften wie faul, unmotiviert oder unzuverlässig zugeschrieben und Anhänger dieser Generation hätten horrende, unrealistische

Forderungen an ihren Arbeitgeber und Arbeitsalltag. Manche Menschen mögen sogar behaupten, die Generation Z zeichnet eine Generation voller Low-Performer. 

Doch was steckt wirklich hinter den wachsenden Ansprüchen dieser Generation? Sind diese gerechtfertigt oder nicht? Wie wirkt sich das auf den Arbeitsmarkt aus? Und nicht zuletzt: kann man die Generation Z wirklich als Low-Performer beschreiben? 

Anhand von drei spannenden Interviews werden wir - Raphael Feigl und Leonie Kirsch - diesen Fragen auf den Grund gehen. Zusammen mit unseren Kommilitoninnen Honglan Liu, Emely Färber und Alicia Dern, haben wir zunächst einen Überblick über die verschiedenen Generationen auf dem aktuellen Arbeitsmarkt ausgearbeitet, um ein besseres Verständnis für die Beziehungen unter diesen zu schaffen.

Unser erster Interviewpartner Zack Momeni, ein junger Berufseinsteiger bei der Stadtverwaltung München, hat uns spannende Einblicke in seinen Arbeitsalltag gewährt. Während es ihm einerseits sehr wichtig ist, viel im Home-Office zu arbeiten, schätzt er andererseits auch den persönlichen Kontakt mit seinen Kollegen - egal ob alt oder jung. Außerdem berichtet er über seine Ansprüche an seinen Arbeitgeber und inwieweit diese erfüllt werden können.

Anschließend sprechen wir mit Sandra Pasterny, Personalerin bei der Kade GmbH. In ihrer Position ist sie nahezu täglich mit Mitgliedern der Generation Z konfrontiert, sei es im Berufsalltag oder im Bewerbungsgespräch. Von ihr erfahren wir, wie die sich ändernden und wachsenden Ansprüche der Generation Z auf Personalebene ankommen und wie damit umgegangen wird.

Zuletzt hilft uns Georg Fahrenschon, ehemaliger Bayrischer Staatsminister für Finanzen und aktueller Partner der WTS Deutschland, dabei, die bisherigen Erkenntnisse aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht einzuordnen. Dabei bringt er Erfahrungen aus seiner Position bei der WTS an, aber gibt auch einen Ausblick auf die Zukunft unserer Wirtschaft.

Dabei betreut die Videojournalistin Produktionen von Sportevents, zum Beispiel den Ski-Cup, die Olympischen Spiele sowie die Fußball-Europameisterschaft, die aktuell in Deutschland ausgetragen wird.

Sina Thäsler-Kordonouri ist als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Ludwig-Maximilians- Universität München tätig. Sie promoviert derzeit zum Thema Künstliche Intelligenz und Automatisierung im Journalismus. Dabei beleuchtet sie, wie Journalistinnen und Journalisten KI für die Produktion von Nachrichten verwenden.

Tim Horlacher ist gelernter Journalist und Geschäftsführer der Video-Agentur Schwarzbild- Medien. Neben Corporate Filming gehören auch das Image Building im Corporate-Bereich sowie non-fiktionale Filme wie Dokumentationen zu den Standbeinen des Unternehmens.

Welcome to the next special edition of the Communications Room Talk podcast! Today, the hosts Mark and Hartmut are summarizing the second part of the Purpose Dialog, an event that brought together Gen Z members and the business world to exchange concepts for a purposeful economy. The event featured panelists Eva Pomeroy from the Presencing Institute, Joep Cornelissen from Erasmus University, Allan Moelholm from kaerly, Thimo Kühner from Stabilo, Frank Thiele from Meet Your Purpose, Franz Allmayer from digihub.li, as well as students Amelie Kurz and Lisa Eggert from the University of Munich.

• Even despite the difficulties to make purpose become the driving principle for every employee that Thimo Kühner mentioned, he and Frank Thiele see purpose as a must to attract potential employees. Frank gives an example where this works.
• Eva Pomeroy told about yearning for meaning as a general human condition and how important it is against this background to find and live an individual purpose. Here she sees the common ground for business and education.
• Franz Allmayer sees purpose as a catalyst to come to a positive change of economic systems to a collaborative way of working, e.g. in decentralization and distributed autonomous organizations (DAOs). For him, this implies a change of the education system as well in this direction.
• For Allan Moelholm, purpose is closely related to consciousness and wisdom like indigenous people live it. Education should take them as an example and emphasize more caring about each other and the environment.

In companies this kind od learning should be introduced because that leads to real innovation. She appreciated the energy of Generation Z which is highly needed to get change done.
• Timo expressed his strong impression about how reflected Gen Z people are. Based on that he sees a real chance that change to the positive will happen. As an example of common ground he mentioned what his company does concerning Mental Health.
• Frank agreed with Amelie and Lisa that companies need to create an authentic purpose. Building systems of belief and values that form all business decisions was seen as critical to creating that credible and authentic purpose. Based on that, individuals and companies can come together by overlapping purposes. He saw a strong purpose as a way to attract and retain talent in organizations.
• Franz talked about the need to repurpose money away from just anthropocentric spending in today’s market economy. He voted for new forms of transparent businesses aligning conscious producers with conscious consumers.
