One conversation, ONE RESPONSE, changes EVERYTHING. When we surrender EVERYTHING that we have, we are able to receive EVERYTHING that He offers.

For the next 7 weeks we will listen, learn and lean into the final words of Jesus upon the cross, seeking to understand why He chose these 7 statements, what did they mean in context, and how do they lead us to respond today. The first statement of Jesus centers on the word "forgiveness" teaching us to bring a resolution to what may be unresolved that needs to be reconciled.

The message is simple and clear. If you were the only representation of Jesus that a person ever saw would your life be an accurate reflection of Jesus?

We have asked God for blessings and breakthroughs in our life that would not only affect our lives, but the people around us. For our new friends to CBC today, you have been invited to this church not because we want to change you, but because we want you to know the person that changed us. You are a part of the "bringing in the harvest"! We have been asking God for the harvest and the harvest is here! However, reaping the harvest takes a willingness to enter into it and engage with it. The harvest simply described is people entering into a relationship with Jesus through your testimony. Invest and Invite someone to come with you next weekend February 3rd or 4th

We will at one point in our life find ourselves at empty wells to quench a thirst that only God can satisfy. We can choose behavior modifications to treat our condition, but today, we seek the true way through heart transformation.

As we set our sights to begin our 21-day journey of prayer and fasting, we do so with the intentionality of giving up something good for something better; disrupting our routines, to devote our requests for the miraculous in our lives, this church, our nation, and the world.
