In our annual meeting, as we consider the year the church just went through with all its delights and sometimes tiring moments, we revisit the cultural goal that drives our leadership.

In the final lines of 2 Corinthians we come across two beautiful reminders for believers of what the Church is meant to be. So when we consider our own relationship to fellow believers and to whatever local body we belong to, does our approach line up with Scripture? Join us as we examine what God calls His church to be.

As we approach the end of Paul's letter to the Corinthians, we see some very practical insight into how Christians engage with one another as the Church. There's a good chance most of us who interact with or belong to the Church have at one point asked themselves: "how do I fit in here? How do I relate to these people?" Let's see what the Bible says.

In 2 Corinthians 12:11-21 we see a wonderful portrait of the depth of Paul's emotions and desires for the church. So when we consider his life, how does it reflect the heart of Christ for His Bride?

In 2 Corinthians 11:16 - 12:10, Paul gives a great dissection of the problem of ego and what it does to the individual believer and to the church as a body. As we study this passage, we're left with a surprisingly simple question: do I think like a fool or like a person of holy wisdom?

In 2 Corinthians 11 we see Paul rebuke the people for their reaction to false teachers, that it's problematic they put up with them "readily." Is that just an admonition for that group of believers? What does the Bible say from start to finish about how God's people should react to false teachers?

We look at another name of God today that is found in Abraham's story: The Everlasting God. When we think of God being everlasting, it's hard to fathom the reality of that and how it relates to God's character and even His plans. So, how can we begin to understand the reality of God being everlasting, and more importantly, how can we allow that truth to transform our lives?

Isaiah 51:2 tells us to look to Abraham to learn from his example. So when we consider the summary of Abraham in Hebrews 11, what big picture lessons do we take away from his life?

In Genesis 16 we are introduced to a name of God that provides insight into a number of His attributes, El Roi. So how does knowing that God's name is "The God who sees/God who sees me" cause us to worship Him? How should this name impact our daily life? Join us as we explore this name of God.
