Louise Titchener is the author of over 40 traditionally published novels in a variety of genres including romance, science fiction fantasy, and mystery. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and has a literature degree from the University of Michigan as well as a Masters from Ohio State. After living in the Baltimore area for most of her adult life, Louise retired to Sarasota with her philosophy professor husband in 2012. Now she’s doing her own thing—writing historical mysteries featuring Oliver Redcastle, her sharpshooter, ex-Pinkerton investigator.Earlier Redcastle mysteries were set in Baltimore, where she used to reside, and Put in Bay—an island where she has spent many summers. Her latest Redcastle mystery, Trouble in Tampa, is set in 1885 Florida. Recently Louise acquired the rights on all her Redcastle mysterie and is re publishing them with new covers. It’s time for Louise to learn to navigate the new world of publishing which is very different from the one she used to know. Between struggling to wrap her head around the intricacies of social media and the technology of publishing, writing, and reading, Louise likes to kayak, take long walks, paint in oils, play bridge, admire the Florida birds, and think about a plot for her next Oliver Redcastle mystery.
