We live in an asymmetrical world, meaning we rarely move in a balanced way. We use one hand or foot for many tasks, sleep a certain way etc etc. For the most part this isn't an issue however when it comes to training and loading the body we want to balance our mobility, stability and strength as much as possible. Front to back, left to right, in to out.

A fixed mindset locks us into a perspective that you're either good or bad at something and everything we do is a test to prove that perspective. Changing to a growth mindset allows us to see ourselves as a work in progress and we can assess where we truly are and begin building progress.
Listen in to understand the difference between competing and training and why you should separate the two. Training progresses us, competing tests us. There's a time for each. If you can master that balance you will supercharge your progress.
We all have our own unique reasons for starting CrossFit. This episode we discuss why understanding your purpose will help you to focus on how best to spend your time training, how much time and what your approach outside of the gym should look like. Everyone's purpose will differ, therefor everyone's approach should differ too.
