Justin got us fired up to record on Monday and said he would have a guest, so Nath and Drew decided to pull it together to show up today… and then Justin disappeared five minutes before the recording started. So instead, you got the two sleepy boys giving it their best on topics as wide-ranging as where Justin might be, barbecue sauce, The Home Gunsmith, Bill Burr on NPR, and the history of gambling. Featuring incessant use of “Bennie and the Jets.” We also legally disavow anything we said about politics this episode.

Sorry to be late editing, I’ve been playing a lot of live poker the last couple of weeks and haven’t had much free time. And editing this one took a while.

We’re continuing our conversation with Seth Bullock, covering, among other topics, Michael Jackson and Katt Williams, the end of Arthur, new kinds of racism, black entertainment television (not to be confused with Black Entertainment Television), men and their feelings, and some stuff about comedy: How we all met, some of our earliest or favorite jokes, punchlines we’ve written for other people or other people have written for us, our process, and so on.

Guest mic in the house! We bring Jesse James back for his third visit to talk to Nath and Drew. Topics covered include stuff we shouldn’t have watched when we were kids, comedy that uses words you can’t say anymore and other words you can say instead, past bits that Jesse missed, our favorite street jokes, and the inverse relationship between weightlifting and cocaine. And we’re a podcast of comedians who say stupid shit, so of course we touched on The Joe Rogan Controversy. But we’ve got such good riffs and banter this episode that the topic doesn’t really matter.

I didn’t take any notes while we were recording but I remember talking about sports betting and Pitbull and Rick Moranis and standup stories and why we hate hippies and why we hate Joss Whedon and of course there are more songs. Justin makes a fuckload of noise because he spends most of the episode eating and drinking and playing video games.

Welcome to 2022! The Shower Boys are back in full effect, and we cover a lot of topics this episode: G.G. Allin; It’s Britney Bitch; Dan Schneider; Drake’s hands-on approach to Euphoria and Millie Bobby Brown; whether Bruce Willis and Joe Biden pop that pussy; plus much more that I don’t remember. I have “zoologist homophobe” written in my episode notes, whatever that means. Drew and I do some of our best harmonizing yet this episode. We recorded this one on Betty White’s 100th birthday, which I imagine went off splendidly and with no problems.

We've got one more episode to close out the year. We pay tribute to the recently departed John Madden; other topics covered include Houston, poker screen names, blowjobs, ad buys, and other people's comedy. Plus there's a lot of talk about eating cookies. And I guess Tool must have come up at some point.
