Dr. Ivan Porter an AA nephrologist, who helps patients with HBP, came by the show to talk about High blood pressure and risks to African Americans. The prevalence of high blood pressure in African-Americans is the highest in the world. and it can cause permanent damage to the heart before you even notice any symptoms, that's why it is often referred to as the "silent killer.

Jacksonville native and mogul, Sherry Blue, came by the show to discuss the charity event - “Pure White Affair,” a fundraising charity event on March 31st, in celebration of the success of her non profit, Foundation For Fortitude! with the highly anticipated return of The Real Housewives of Atlanta starlet and style expert, Marlo Hampton! As well as the heart and soul of Foundation For Fortitude, 501c3 organization with an operating head office in Jacksonville Florida, whose core mission is to expose young women to individual development training and seminars that would increase their awareness of financial and budgeting techniques, employment and college preparedness.

Ms. Terri and Ms. Stephanie Reese from Community Rehabilitation Center in Duval, came by the show to discuss National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. We came together to talk about this national issue and to issue the call to break the stigma, and to get the women the support and resources they need!

These women face problems such as isolation from friends, family and even care providers.

Chuck Campbell of Chick Fil A - River City Marker place came by the show to talk about Chick-Fil-A Chicken Biscuit Run 5k. Their goal is to help keep Jacksonville fit by providing another venue to get out and run, as well as partner, and support civic groups, teams, and schools, by providing a forum that can help as a fundraising tool and community event platform.
They support community groups by providing a platform for them to raise funds!

Angie Nixon came by the show to talk about The Eastside Arts Vendors Market 2nd annual “Melanin Market” Black History Parade on March 3rd! The Melanin Market has a strong emphasis on promoting local small businesses and organizations owned/led by African Americans. The goal is to highlight members and leaders within the African American community that have made a valuable impact in Black History.

KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY, INC. ANNOUNCES ITS, “LEARN 2 LIVE” NATIONAL INITIATIVE In conjunction with The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE)! Kappa’s – Malcolm Johnson, Scott Armstrong, and Charles Kemp came by to talk about Learn 2 Live and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. launching a national initiative entitled, “Learn 2 Live,” a collaborative effort with the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) to formally address one of the most critical issues affecting people of color in the United States. Incidents of racial profiling, a lack of comprehensive policing policies, and the increasing frequency of tragic outcomes between law enforcement and persons of color have produced an environment of anger and frustration, widening the trust gap between police and communities of color.
