In this episode, Ryan talks with Dominic Mathew from the Fund for our Economic Future and the Paradox Prize. They discuss the No Car, No Job Paradox and other problems that arise when helping people get to work.
The Paradox Prize started in 2019 with the goal of funding big ideas to improve the mobility of Northeast Ohioans stranded economically by their geography. The paradox is that if you don't have a car, you can't get a job and without a job, you can't afford a car. This is a growing, national problem facing employers and their workforce and the Paradox Prize is creating a playbook for how companies and communities can solve the access to work problem with mobility.
