Set your intention for the beautiful day! Think through your morning agenda ahead of time, and have someone you trust help you make a schedule. This could be a parent, member of the wedding party, host couple, or personal attendant. Ideally, if they’re available on the day-of, have them share the schedule with your wedding party and keep time on the morning activities. This way you’ll stay on schedule, but YOU won’t feel the need to stress. After all, this is YOUR big day, so allow yourself to let others do things for you.

Unlike an elopement (a bride and groom’s secretive ceremony), the guest list for micro weddings is small. But this doesn’t necessarily mean the wedding has to be anything less than amazing. Micro weddings allow a couple on a budget to bring their true wedding daydreams to life! 

Imagine a normal Fort Lauderdale wedding celebration, just on a way smaller scale. Micro weddings most still have a ceremony and reception with dinner, decor, cake, and entertainment. The event is typically 40 people or less, with the majority of micro weddings in the range of 15 to 25 guests. A smaller guest list means less seating, centerpieces, linens, food, and the list goes on. According to The Knot’s 2019 Real Weddings Study, the average wedding last year cost over $33,000 when a micro wedding can be achieved under $10,000. Talk about major savings!
