Amanda Hara graduated from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication with me in 2003. We talk about the local newspaper she started at the age of eight, her early career in Evansville, Indiana, and the gauntlet of being a young reporter. She eventually found her way to the south where she is currently the Evening Anchor and Executive Producer of Digital Content at WVLT. We discuss some of the differences between the Pacific Northwest and the South. She also shares how much she values her current role and what the future might have in store for current journalism students.
