Ayon sa mga lumang textbook, may pagkakaiba ang "may" at "meron". Pero sa paggamit ng Tagalog sa kasalukuyan, interchangeable na ang "may" at "meron" kaya ok lang kung hindi ka sigurado kung alin ang tamang gamitin.
