Compton's Kitchen

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - This weekend America was able to view some of the most disgusting forms of racism put on display for everyone around the world to see. Unfortunately, none of this is new - instead the world can see racism that people of color have long seen. This episode is very different from what we've done before, as I just wanted to get some things off my chest. I hope we can share love with each other. - @9toPHIve

We had the opportunity to sit down with the founder of Unruly Citizens, the group making some noise in OKC by bringing hip hop acts out to the city. In speaking with Kyle, you'll be able to get some insight on how all of this started, what his influences are, and his outlook for the city. The Unruly group can be reached through any of the following: unrulycitizens.com Twitter: @TheUnrulyKyle @Unrulycitizens

Join us this week as we take it back to original levels of the podcast: politics. We are discussing the state of the state, and how our politicians are failing us. Join the conversation, and as always be aware. thelegendsroom.com @9toPHIve @Quietkill1 @LegendsRoomPod

The Tower Theatre in OKC hasn't been open since 2000, and the great management team decided to open the building with a dope hip hop show. We were fortunate enough to sit down and talk to everyone involved. Sit back, listen, and enjoy all the background on these great artists. We’re back with a friend of the podcast, Mr. Grand National. He has an album releasing this Friday, and what better way to start the release week than with a good conversation? In the podcast we get to know Grand, and also talk about his place in music, as well as the upcoming album. Since we were in the studio, we got to catch up with a producer by the name of Quad, as well as a rapper named Deus. Great conversations also feature here. You can grab “Eastside Delicacy” this Friday by heading to GrandNationalLiving.com

Well, here we are discussing some of the things that went down in 2016. It was A LOT! But we definitely tried to touch on some of the highlights of the year, and understand that we missed plenty. As you prepare for the new year, grab you a drink, sit back, and turn us on. I’m joined by two special guests: my bro Am’re, and my wife Kristen. Enjoy!

We got it all this week, the lives lost, the country in shambles, and KD not keeping his mouth quiet...and Nas. (LOL).
