Brian Seko returns for another dive into Data Science. Brian Seko has over 10 years in Data Analytics for a Major Medical Research Institution and is getting his Masters Degree in Applied Data Science. Brian shares many of the complexities of data collection as well as making sense of data and using it to better understand different models in research as well as practical application. Brian also touches on statistics and many other facets of data systems with us. Later in the show Brian shares a little bit about how the average person can learn to use data in more meaningful ways. Tonight's focus is more on data munging and data visualization.

Aaron is the one who  introduced me to Raspberry Pi and database logging as well as  integrating remote control via computer based technologies. Aaron is  always developing new circuits and programs to overcome technological  challenges. Aaron is also a licensed amateur radio enthusiast and a  member of The Overlook Mountain Amateur Radio Club.Aaron is a close  friend whom I met via our local amateur radio repeater. In this episode  Aaron introduces us to many different types of computer control type  boards like the Raspberry Pi as well as SDR or Software Defined Radio  and many other technologies including FPGA's which is an emerging  technology in the computer and IOT world. Tonight’s guest Ian Steppler and I discuss honey bees and related  practices and management. Ian tells us how he overwinters his bees in  his extreme cold environmenrt in Manitoba, Canada. He also shares his  perspectives on disease management, using natural pollen sources, and  how what he’s learned as a beekeeper has changed his perspectives on  some of his farming practices and that interaction with the land.
