On episode 28 of Concussion Talk Podcast I talk to Ashley Hiscock, an athletic therapist at founder of Premier Athletic Therapy in St. John's, NL, Canada, and a coach of Memorial University Cheerleading, a team won first place in the Premier All-Girl Division at the 2018 International Cheer Union University World Cup Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, FL. As an athletic therapist and as a cheerleading coach, Ashley has a keen interest in concussion. We talk about the risks, and what is being done to address concussions in cheerleading. Check out Memorial University Cheerleading on Facebook to see videos, which make obvious the athleticism, talent, and reasons they've had such success!
