This Sunday is Father’s Day. I will be bringing our first message in the new I John series, and it will be all about fathers and children.

Check out I John 2:12-14!  Saint John was a spiritual dad to many people and we can learn from his amazing example.  Both of my earthly dads will be part of the service on Sunday as well, so don’t miss it!  Donuts and coffee are back, just in time for Father’s Day. This coming Sunday, June 13, we will begin a new series in the book of I John called "Walking with God".  I can't wait!  John has always been one of my favorite people to study and read.  We will learn together how to walk in love, truth, light, and obedience.

Hi Conejo friends and family. “Your Word is a lamp for my feet and a light to my path.”  These are some famous words from Psalm 119, which has a whopping 176 verses!

Hi Conejo Family,

Blessings in The Lord to each of you!  I pray you are well this week.

Something you should know about me… I love COMMUNION.  There is something about celebrating The Lord’s Supper together with the Family of God that lights me up!

I also love the whole idea of communing intimately with HIM and with each other at the same time.  The picture of the broken Body of Jesus coming back together in our gathering is powerful and beautiful.  

This Sunday we will celebrate communion together and I can’t wait.  I will also bring a teaching on the nature of the church.  Why do we gather?  What is our purpose as a community of faith?  We will also talk about digital and physical ministry (phygital?).  Which is better?  Can they work together?  How has the pandemic affected The Church in America?
