Since we here at Confessions from the Darkside well 1 half of us is from the wonderous land that is Scotland I thought I would red you a poem from our beloved Robert burns as he too wrote about the supernatural in his works his poems paint a picture of witches and even the devil himself dark aspects and topics and since its his birthday today January 25th what better way to celebrate than to read tam O' Shanter..

So, we will be talking about subjects that can have you well put on the naughty step but I think lunar can tell you that that step cannot contain me….

So Hello and Welcome this is what we have been planning all this time to bring you an alternative Festive tradition famous here in the United Kingdom where it was the tradition to tell ghost stories at home altogether around the fire getting all toasty and warm listening to stories that should send you shivering to your very core but at least we will be together..

In Victorian times it wasn't unusual to spend such cold wintery times around the fire place as a family and creating our own entertainment and fun maybe we should be taking note her in 2023 that ghost stories with lessons to be learned and hidden meanings aren't just for Halloween they are for the colder months when things are quiet and the world outside is not as we knew it and what better way than to tell a story or two and start a tradition that we can adapt to over the years and pass down to our children etc...

So for every day until Christmas eve we will be uploading a story from the Victorian times that we will be reading and you will have either myself DA'rcy Darkness or my podcast partner LunarXRising telling you tales and filling us with sheer joy of the darkside in these spooky story telling episodes...

As you know we have released the intro and promo for these stories and we didn't think we would have a disclaimer yet I have had to step in and do this as it was me all me who couldn't go through an episode without a minor bad language incident as you know we aren't a fluffy PG channel its very much adult all of the time.. fair Warning

After the breakdown of the world when a virus strikes what do you plan for the zombies or a plague or virus but the world is going to hell and we take a dive into horror movies that show us what sort of future we may have in store for us, maybe we should take notes, huh

Who knew that experimenting with different diseases and viruses could end the world and bring about the fall of the planet..
I think this subject hits a little close to home especially in the past few years yet we have most likely laughed it off until the global pandemic that we experienced ourselves yet it was closer to plandemic, why do I say this well when the world was doing better with everyone being at home and not destroying planet earth at every chance they got as we were all under orders of not to go out stay inside and to test etc wear masks and wash your hands telling us to get vaxxed and that we cannot catch it twice even 1 leader said to drink bleach wow seriously while they were stealing and hiding funds to the highest bidder in false contracts to line not just their own but their rich fat cat mates along the way the world became under attack by the people running the world the very people voted in to help us and protect us yet the conspiracy behind where the virus started and who created it and how anyone who asked any sort of question was a member of the tin hat brigade because we saw something wasn’t right they were trying to keep us all quiet and under control by using a virus to control who we see what we do and how we live our lives and still happening..

We spoke about how V was being used as a symbol of how the world was going it was like are we getting closer to the Dystopian world that we hear about in our movies and how the world is literally dying and us inhabiting it well are we the problem I think in this time yes we are not you or me but those in power they aren’t using their positions for the people only for themselves and others in the same boat this is not for the good of the many…
Sci-Fi and Horror or them both together have created some of the most amazing and imaginative end of the world scenarios that can make it easier for us to see what to expect from the future and all we can do is prepare for it!
