So Hello and Welcome this is what we have been planning all this time to bring you an alternative Festive tradition famous here in the United Kingdown where it was the tradition to tell ghost stories at home altogether around the fire getting all toasty and warm listening to stories that should send you shivering to your very core but at least we will be together..

In Victorian times it wasn't unusual to spend such cold wintery times around the fire place as a family and creating our own entertainment and fun maybe we should be taking note her in 2023 that ghost stories with lessons to be learned and hidden meanings aren't just for halloween they are for the colder months when things are quiet and the world outsdie is not as we knew it and what better way than to tell a story or two and tstart a tradition that we can adapt to over the years and pass down to our children etc...

So for every day until christmas eve we will be uploading a story from the Victorian times that we will be reading and you will have either myself DA'rcy Darkness or my podcast partner LunarXRising telling you tales and filling us with sheer joy of the darkside in these spooky story telling episodes...

As you know we have released the intro and promo for these stories and we ddn't think we would have a disclaimer yet I have had to step in and do this as it was me all me who couldn't go through an episode without a minor bad language incident as you know we aren't a fluffy PG channel its very much adult all of the time.. fair Warning

Well it is that time of season again and a first here for us at Confessions from the Darkside and what a treat we have for you...
The tradition in Victorian Britain durint these cold Knights it was a tradition on the run up to cHristmas to huddle around the fire as a family and tell teh age old tale of Ghost Stories so we thought we would bring this to our community so that we can enjoy all things Dark and Unusual throughout the 13 knights from 11th Dember to 24th of Decmber join us over on yout favourite platforms for our take on this yule time and go back way back to a time where people socialised without technology and amde their own fun...

Let's make some memories share some stories, some memories some banter and let's get cosy, go grab you beverage of choice and let's begin...

We will be reading each knight and taking alternate knights to read the stories we have chosen and then on knight 13 which is Christmas eve we will read together on Discord  and have a wee watch party of Scrooged if you would like an invite to this pelase look at the social media links below and we will ahve that information there for you to watch with us for laughs, commentary and an alternative buddy system so that no one has to be alone this Yule as we have each other

So, Thanksgiving is over…

How did it go?

Is that dragging feeling of Fantastic *sarcasm ofc it’s the rollercoaster of emotions and other peoples shit you must deal with and having to make yourself well fit into everyone else’s plans..

It is OK not to Be OK with this type of behaviour its ok to not want to join in and be included its ok not to want to go anywhere or socialise its ok to be on your own if that’s what makes you happy and its Ok to tell people this…..

If they don’t understand that is their own problem not yours…

We are not here to carry other peoples baggage as much as they want us to against our will….

Its ok to help and support but when things start to affect you then walk away you don’t need it…

This isn’t just for the festive period this is for everything and always if things are getting too much for you then you need to walk away and just go and do what you need to do for yourself….

Having a place, you can go whether its in your home, in your head, or even just going somewhere that you can centre yourself and that you can reset anything that may have caused you distress and anxiety we are all only human after all…

Well Thanksgiving is over with and we wanted to check in with you all see how our wonderful listeners are getting on and how did everything go with the dcountdown to another festive holiday we want to make sure everyone is doing ok and that we are here if you need us.....
