They say anger will reveal a person's true character! At times, life and my day-to-day interactions cause me to question people's shady behaviors and their solidarity. Through character development, God has taught me how to hold, myself at a standard despite people's actions and behaviors towards me. This week I'll teach you how stay in rare form as well!

As a trauma response, my toxic trait was not allowing the people God sent to my life; to aid me in purpose. I was scared to let people close to me and questioned their care and love. God had to remind me that he's with me, and has given me the tools, I need to see people for who they really are.

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

What's bothering you? A lot of things plague our mind, causing us stress, anxiety and depression, because we haven't surrendered our thought to God. Worry comes down to 2 questions;

1. Is it out of my control and if it is; Why haven't I given it fully, to God.

2. Why haven't I changed the circumstances or environment?

Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

Before God elevates you, he has to bring you to a place of contentment, wanting nothing. He has to send you through the character development process, which is used to gracefully break you, so that when you enter into what it is you've been praying for, you don't mishandle the blessing, or fall into the enemy's traps and distractions. This week I discuss my struggles, in which had to be broken, in order to reach a place of contentment and peace.

James 1:3-4 - Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Lately I've had to catch myself because I started to do toxic things out of pettiness and hurt. The Holy Spirit had to check and remind me that it is he who lives within me and that I'm called to pray for those that spitefully use me.
